Bashar Masri ((アラビア語:بشار مصري)) is a Palestinian American entrepreneur, born in Nablus, Palestinian territories in 1961 and raised there,〔(Palestinian-American Entrepreneur Re-Envisions West Bank Development )〕 educated in Egypt and the United States. Trained in chemical engineering and with a background in management consulting, Bashar moved back to Ramallah from the Washington, D.C. area in the mid-1990s, establishing himself in Ramallah. He was the founder and first publisher of the Palestinian daily newspaper Al-Ayyam. A successful businessman, Bashar is CEO of Massar International, which engages in a variety of business activities across the Middle East, North Africa, and Eastern Europe. Bashar is the founder and managing director of Bayti Real Estate Investment Company.
